LIMIT.

Line that determines a spatial extent or that separates two extents.

I developed a series of metal engravings that points to edges and limits. These are works which lines go through the perimeter of our territory, leading us to think about maps as an orientation tool, with its conventions and systems of representation, as well as the drawing that create spaces and locates us.

These engravings are grouped as an artist's book format. They came from memories of pages from geography school books, suggesting the urgency of apprehending a place. Can we look from the outside, put ourselves in the position of foreigners moving into new directions? These work arises while thinking about the country, in which I experiment with its form and redesign it. I contour to try to learn its limits.
