IN DUET is an exhibition by visual artists MARA DE CARLI and KAREN AXELRUD, exploring the conceptual dialogues that ground their poetics, the similarities and differences inherent in each work.

The exhibition leaves different interpretations open, making them more visible in understanding the meaning of folds, modules, gaps, grids, edges, repetitions, spatiality, overlaps, games, and limits. IN DUET is silent, not imposing on the viewer the need to understand its narratives or what is implicit in the conception of each work presented: its nuances and layers.
The exhibition is also a selection of individual work executed by the artists over more than a decade, highlighting their affective dialogue and their production. The intersections, dialogues, and associations between the works allow visitors to create their own deductions, whether aesthetic, conceptual, formal, or of any other nature.
